European Courtyard

Add the wild beauty of vines to any outside spot and it instantly becomes romantic place for a dinner, gathering or maybe even a wedding.  These images take me to a special little cafe or courtyard  that could easily be somewhere in Italy. Old world charm mixed with modern elements make this a perfect place to say I do.  I love the blue and white vintage china and how it matches the cake. How about those artichokes as place cards! I loved being part of this collaboration with amazing vendors.  I really enjoyed doing these flowers and I am really excited to share this inspiration shoot.  PS - do you recognize the groom? hint hint - the Bachelor See below for vendor list.  Also this feature was published in the print magazine Sweet Violet Bride, the 2015 Winter/ Spring issue: see it here in their online publication.

POTTERY BARN KIDS ~ Easter Brunch with Hanging Floral Installation

Easter is just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited for spring flowers to start blooming.  Recently I collaborated with the darling Sweet Little Peanut Magazine  and Pottery Barn Kids to create hanging floral installation for an Easter Brunch party and today I'm excited to share with you images by Becky Kimball from our shoot filled darling Easter inspiration and ideas!

For this Easter Brunch party Sweet Little Peanut Magazine  really wanted to bring fresh flower elements to their table design and create something whimsical and unexpected – different than just the usual table arrangement or centerpiece. That’s how we came up with the idea for a floral installation (that also smells amazing). You can easily re-create this concept by following the DIY I created over on Pottery Barn Kids’ blog HERE! You can create something on a larger scale like I did or you can also do something on a smaller scale by hanging fresh flowers from a lighting fixture or chandelier above your table.

All of the darling Easter decorations can be found at Pottery Barn Kids
